Vol 1: February 1973 – July-August 1973
Collecting the early adventures of the Legion of Super-Heroes from Adventure Comics!


Vol 2: January 1980 – July 1984
Legion of Super-Heroes (Volume 2) began publication in 1980, with issue #259, continuing the numbering sequence from Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes. Although this is the first ongoing series to spotlight the Legion, the team was also featured in the four-issue Legion of Super-Heroes limited series, which contained reprinted stories from Adventure Comics. This series continued publication under the title Legion of Super-Heroes until issue #313, where it was renamed, Tales of the Legion of Super-Heroes. During this time, a second ongoing Legion title, Legion of Super-Heroes (Volume 3) began publication, and ran concurrently with Volume 2. With issue #326, Tales of the Legion began reprinting the initial issues from Legion (Volume 3) until its cancellation with issue #354. Volume 3 continued publication for a total of 63 issues, and came to an end in 1987. Numerous relaunch titles and spinoffs have been published since the demise of this title.


Vol 3: August 1984 – August 1989

Vol 4: November 1989 – March 2000
With the timestream restored, it’s back to the future for the incredible origin of the 30th century’s greatest heroes. As the free worlds of the galaxy take their first tentative steps toward unity, multibillionaire R.J. Brande looks for a way to repay the universe for his lifetime of prosperity.


Vol 5: February 2005 – March 2009
Legion of Super-Heroes (Volume 5) was published under its original title from 2004–2006. Beginning with issue #16, the series changed its title to Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes. Beginning from issue #37, it was published by the original title again.


Vol 6: July 2010 – October 2011
Fan-favorite LEGION writer Paul Levitz returns to the 31st century super team he made supreme with an all-new intergalactic era! This exciting series picks up on threads from Geoff Johns’s “Superman and the Legion of Super-Heroes” storyline and creates its own all-new ones, including a Green Lantern Corps tie-in and the destruction of a major planet! Rocket on board here as Levitz and rising star artist Yildiray Cinar (TEEN TITANS) revitalize one of DC’s most beloved franchises starting with an oversized first issue with a Variant cover by superstar artist Jim Lee!
