10/10 first issue! Quite intriguing and topical as well. I love the more lethal version of the transforming bow, comprised of 2 machetes. I hope Malcolm Merlyn doesn’t become an antagonist.

The fact that they deliberately name-dropped Roy Harper, Mia Dearden, and Tom Halloway, very likely means none of them are the killer. Unless it’s a double bluff, or some kind of Scream situation where they’re all in on it.

Damn, that was great…and those villains deserve it! But even just the look and the movement’s to Green Arrow are awesome.

Wait a minute. A bow and arrow can actually hurt you? And all these years of reading anything to do with Green Arrow, I thought it was just a gimmicky prop with slight comedic value. Just like everything else in the Absolute Universe, they took the classic hero, and gave him a cutting edge. Very interested to see how this goes and what else they do with Green Arrow’s classic lore.
