I enjoy the start of this event, Spidey will be back , when this fight get to NY , u see Spidey back in the fold. David getting the like sentry power from tony help is out of this world. I like how captain marvel look in this( art is amazing in this ) it like an avengers endgame or civil war feeling to this almost .

I can’t say that I blame Ms. Riani’s stance on wanting superpowered individuals to stay out of it. Like she mentioned, the worst things that happen seem to always be caused by superpowered individuals. Sometimes it’s even the heroes themselves who are the direct cause of damage and pain. But let’s face it, they wouldn’t be superheroes if they didn’t try to do everything within their power to prevent and stop as much harm as they could if they have the power to do so. As one great hero once said, “With great power, comes great responsibility”. A hero who has inspired countless people and left a profound effect on the world. You all know who I mean: Stan Lee.
Great start to the event. Seeing Red Hulk go full scorched earth on the world is a great story. They just tossed Spidey in here for the sake of him being in here, but I like this Avengers roster and hope we get to see some big stuff with David Colton. I like that they’re doing a mini Invaders avenging Cap here. ALso all the preemptive justice stuff must suck for Carol after Civil War II, since she used the same thing and got her butt handed to her by Tony (not physically but with ideas). Tony using the tech is strange, but its at least somewhat more private than whatever the frick Ulysses was. This won’t end well with the fallout with UN after, but a big time avengers event with some x-men and FF against super villain is nice. Chip can write about paint drying and still make it incredible, and the art is good too. Looking forward to the rest of the event
I’m don’t think that Spidey’s just here to look pretty. I’m pretty sure that there’s an upcoming comic that ties into Armageddon that has to do with Spider-Man, the Hulk and The Punisher having something to do with what’s going on here. Who knows, maybe Spider-Man will be directly involved with saving the world from another overblown, opinionated asshat with his own vision of what a safe world looks like and is crossing every boundary, committing acts of betrayal and has a laundry list of bullcrap justifications for it. It’s not like there hasn’t been more than a few of those. I wonder if Iron Man would make that connection.

Man it really sucks to be carol at this point. She gets her ass handed to her in this issue, learning her distant relative is part of a hate group in dark past, her sequel bombs at the box office, her latest ongoing only lasting 10 issues and her biggest fan being shoehorned into the x-men. I wish her the best of luck in the upcoming avengers book in November.
I mean she was the last leader of the Avengers in its last run and is currently running the Imperial Guardians of the Galaxy so Iโd argue sheโs doing ok for a character who used to be Warbird
Hope she broke up with James ( war machine), then maybe she get better story line lol. but in all I like her solo limited run so far, with my man paul jekins writing.( he was doing great stuff on spider man back in the early 2000, one of my favorite era of Spidey) and her run with imperial is alight too.

Imperial guardians getting cancelled further proves my point but her being leader of the Avengers is Valid.
That was always going to last 5-6 issue no matter what, marvel new memo is to not take risk and be safe.,
