I fear that this issue is going to drive MJ and Peter apart.
His “no one dies when I’m around” contrasted with MJ dropping Torment to his death points out the different paths that they’re on.
He could very well decide that he can’t be with her because she’s willing to cross that line, or she may decide that she’s somehow unworthy of him, or will somehow corrupt him.
Now this could send MJ on an interesting character arc, and I can see her and Felicia growing closer over this, but I also fear this could lead her to becoming involved with Flash as she goes down a darker path, possibly engaging in some self-destructive behavior.

The last page to torment supposed death confirm it , MJ and venom love peter, torment state the obvious and to piss her of by telling her that after he kill their entire family, after coming out jail and that peter will be the last to suffer, u piss of the real true love of peter ( not GWEN) sure give MJ space and get her time to fully develop as a character and as venom, I accept that she now venom and will get better as a hero. but don’t waster her time with flash . also flash is anti venom, it not going to work , u putting poison around her with his ability and venom. but down the line Peter and MJ will find each other again.

Okay, that last part was very interesting. Cue the unexpected evil relative. Can’t wait to see where that leads.
I think what makes Spider-Man stand out as one of the most iconic and truest heroes of the Marvel Comics is his unwavering sense of compassion and dedication to what’s right, no matter how hard it may be. He refuses to take a life, even when it would be easier or even righteous to do so. In a lot of way, I see that as being naive and childish, but I also see that as the ultimate dedication to true heroism. No matter what, Peter lives by those words “With great power, comes great responsibility”. It would be all too easy for him to give into righteous angers and kill his enemies, stop them from ever harming another person again, but that path easily leads to corruption. If he were to compromise that part of himself, what else could he compromise? What other terrible things would he do? Just look at the bad things Iron Man had done when he started compromising his sense of right and wrong.
Having said all that, I absolutely cannot say I fault what MJ did. Torment was a freak that proved himself a clear, legitimate threat that was highly capable and insanely brutal. He already snuffed out dozens of people in horrifically terrible ways just working his way up to this point, and there can be no doubt that if he was taken alive, he would have escaped and resumed trying to kill all their family and loved ones. Torment wasn’t someone like Shocker, Boomerang, Sandman or any of the other common street-level criminals who are just after money. This was a deeply disturbed, extremely dangerous killer, who was for all intents and purposes the worst kind of evil, the one that does evil for its own sake. I don’t think any logical person can hold it against MJ for ending the threat Torment posed to her and everyone she cared about, at least I don’t.
I’m really hoping that the newspaper was confirming Paul Rabin’s death, but I couldn’t really tell. Not that it matters at this point since he’s no longer with MJ, I just want him to be gone so that I can forget about the stain he’s left on the Spider-Man comics. I’m still hoping beyond reasonable hope that MJ and Flash aren’t going to hook up, but I realize that’s probably just me being optimistic. It’s not just because I’m Team Peter + MJ, but because I think it’s stupid and harmful to MJ’s character for her to end her abysmal relationship with Paul only to end up going straight into another. Why not just let MJ be on her own for a while, sort out her own life and figure things out now that she’s single and the host of Venom? That would probably do a lot to salvage her character and re-ingratiate her back with the fans. After reading the Ultimate Spider-Man comics and seeing Peter and MJ’s relationship the way it should be, I just really want to see that come to pass in the mainstream comic.
This was a good story arc, and like I said, while I’m hoping this confirms Paul’s removal from existence so that he no longer offends the real fans of Spider-Man, I just wish it didn’t come at the expense of Shocker’s life. Seriously, the Shocker, one of the most iconic of all Spider-Man villains, was worth infinitely more than Paul Rabin ever could be.
Flash & MJ physically canโt be together at this point, Flash is a human/symbiote hybrid due to how he was resurrected he canโt unbond with Anti Venom at this point and MJ is in a similar but different situation with Venom so Flash is literally toxic to her right now. We know this because when Flash wore Toxin earlier in the series Toxin said Flash made him feel sick when wearing him so I imagine it would be a similar thing for physical interactions with Flash and MJ. I could see this being an unrequited thing for Flash leading him down a darker/bad road as life currently going well for him so writers will want to change that for drama

who are over, not MJ and peter,( for now yeah) if u Didn’t read this last page before torment supposed death, he state the truth that both venom and MJ love peter and he will caused peter misery after killing them and family, that was the last straw and u can see it in venom face how much that piss him/her off and I believed it MJ that took over and did the last blow .
In do believe MJ still loves Peter but I don’t believe she’s in love with him anymore. He’s an important part of her life that I don’t think she wants one without him in it, but I also feel that they write her in a way that she’s not looking for a romantic relationship with him.
That I agree with for right now , but I believed it will built back over time and years , there future daughter may parker is alive, and it was never solved from her being missing, they either rebuilt back the love over time or bring the daughter some how back and that would force them back together . The only other woman that can take her place is felicia . who else u name me could be a good fit for him , shay and alien girl ain’t worth it .sometimes I wish he end up with Jessica ( Spiderwoman ) marvel really need a upgrade that can surpass MJ to make the fans happy and it definitely not shay or alien girl !!
