That is a good point, and not all of the new mutants who have been invented in this new era are very well done or compelling, in my point of view. What you pointed out here makes me think that Marvel should focus more on the established, written characters and portray how they’re trying to get along in this era without Krakoa. I think that would show more talent with writing and character development.
Yeah, bring back the students from the Jean Grey School, I thought those kids were awesome, for the most part. Some grew up to be major disappointments, but those kids should still be the main focus instead of coming up with new characters that most people don’t know and are not invested in.

I like these group of kids, their ability outshine kitty outcast , and they took Scott lead in a heart beat and nail it . I hope these kids be the nxt new mutant/generation X future ( wish upon a star) .

Underestimate Scott Summers at your own peril. His mutation may seem pretty basic as far as powers may go, but that doesn’t make it any less powerful. And it’s never been his mutation that has always made him a legitimate threat, but Scott’s tactical mind and advanced training.
This was better than I expected it to be. Hopefully, Cyclops keeps it up and continues to be the leader he was always meant to be.
These kids have far more better ability than the kitty outcast and took scott lead and nail it like a young X-MEN academy team. I hope marvel take some of these new young characters in consideration for a future new mutant team .
Not even real X-Men or even trained by the X-Men, and these kids kicked more ass than Kitty’s students. Scott should do the smart thing and take these kids back to the X-Academy to receive actual training, then we can see how Kitty’s students hold against them.
