I still need someone to explain to me how the hell Kate and Emma’s half-assed students are the so-called “student mentors” when we all know the Outliers could kick their asses any day of the week. They’ve faced more legitimate threats than those other tools did, and most of them aren’t a ripoff or a rehash of other characters’ powers. Hell, Scout if more qualified just by virtue of being Laura’s sister-clone. The worst thing that Axo, Melee and Bronze faced in their boring comic title was teen angst, and even then, they barely handled it. There’s a reason why the comic titles with the Outliers is still ongoing, while the comic title with those other simps ended, and it couldn’t end fast enough.
If the Shadow King really is behind this, and I have little doubt that he is, then this is just one more mistake that made by Krakoa that has long term affects. Instead of welcoming that vile creature onto their island paradise because no greater virtue then being a mutant, they should have locked his fat ass in the Pit or killed him out right and make sure he was never resurrected. Instead, they gave him the same free pass they gave all mutant criminals and psychopaths, and now they’re all paying the price of it. Hindsight is always 20/20
