Seeing Raโs al ghul stop shouting threats and reciting the words of these writings is just so wholesome tbh we barely get to see supervillains actually get rehabilitated in the comics besides harley quinn

I never cared about Superman as a character until this comic book.
Also, Brainiac hanging around is awesome, I loved everything about him from the last arc. He is as ruthless and disgusting and awesome as he should be. Of course now he’s merged with Sol, and I’m very interested to see where this goes now that we’re all finally gonna meet Lex. I love the big three Absolute titles!
This is quite possibly my favorite issue yet from this series! Such peak reading. Plus, blue looks so much better than black, honestly.

I was a bit underwhelmed with how the last arc ended, but this is great. Clarifies a lot of loose ends or things I thought were wrapped up too neatly (fate of Ra’s and the Lazarus company, Kal/Clark’s identity, etc.) and sets up up a lot of great stuff for the future.

Looks like Superman needs to meet with someone who can help him learn to smile again. Maybe…someone with some magic noise canceling headphones for Christmas?
