Norman’s entire internal conflict is so compelling and full circle, and the way he’s written is incredible. They balance Ben Reilly and Norman’s sides of stepping up for Peter perfectly, and its making this book good again. Also, John Romita Jr. is the quintessential Amazing Spider-man artist.

What I wan’t is for Peter to get back all ready, and I wan’t may to SEE how selfish she has been, not realizing Peter was missing “off the grid” also a Ben and Peter fight showing Ben’s depth, and this has to be in it “I JUST WANTED TO BE LIKE YOU”

Hmmm, looks like Ben might be making a play to claim Peter’s life for himself, like Wells forecast towards the end of his run.

Now that’s the kind of beat down that Parker should have given Tombstone back during that half-assed “Gang War” arc. It’s painfully obvious that most villains and even some heroes all show Spider-Man this universal disrespect by not taking him seriously and constantly looking down on him because they don’t realize just how dangerous he is and can be because he’s always holding back. Clearly, Norman Osborne doesn’t have that issue.
Thatโs why it was such a good revelation when Otto broke scorpions jaw when he possessed his body lmao. It was like hold up heโs been holding back this whole time ๐คฃ leave it to villains to show how dangerous spiderman can be
That’s also why I wish the roles had been reversed and it was Janice doing all the family murder shenanigans and not Tombstone. Then Spider-Man would have had an actual reason to hold back.
It’d be nice if the writers came up with a story where Spider-Man stops holding back and shows every criminal in NYC exactly what he’s capable of, so they know exactly what they’re messing with and why they need to think twice about pissing him off. Like when he b!tch smacked Kingpin into submission before that whole thing was erased by Peter’s deal with Mephisto.
