Those first few pages really got me laughing. It’s good to know that Black Cat has to put effort into her looks like everyone else instead of just only being naturally gorgeous. This is probably the most I’ve ever liked her. Seeing trying to go down the path of heroism and seeing just how hard it is to be shows a whole new dimension to her character. Maybe she’ll be less inclined to dismiss Spidey’s moralistic advice if he ever get back to Earth.
I love this ongoing joke with her that nobody really believes that she’s turned over a new leaf. The writers are finally making use of the massive potential for humor when it comes to Felicia, especially with her trying to walk the straight and narrow.
