Vol 1: February 1967 – November 1967
The first original Ghost Rider, a Western hero. His name got changed into Night Rider and later the Phantom Rider after the name Ghost Rider was given to Johny Blaze, the motorcycle stuntman.

Vol 2: September 1973 – June 1983
As Daimon Hellstrom visits his mother’s grave, John Blaze races across the Arizona desert to check on Roxanne in the hospital, however Blaze wipes out and gets in an accident and lands himself in a hospital bed. Meanwhile, Sam Silvercloud and Snake Dance recover the near comatose Witch Woman to find her still possessed by Satan. They call in Daimon Hellstorm to help out with his paranormal expertise. However, after the call, Witch-Woman revives and walks out searching for John Blaze.

Vol 3: May 1990 – February 1998
Dan Ketch becomes the new Ghost Rider. Halloween night in the Cyprus Hills Cemetery, Barbara Ketch drags her younger brother Danny to visit Harry Houndini’s grave. They end-up in the middle of a gang war between Deathwatch and Kingpin. Barbara is hurt, and Danny finds a motor bike with a medallion on it. Thus the new Ghost Rider is born!

Vol 4: August 2001 – January 2002
Get out your leather and fire up that hog, because the original Ghost Rider is tearing up the highway once again, and he’s badder and wilder than ever! A flaming skull. A cold metal chain. A revved-up Harley. It’s been a long time since Johnny Blaze lived the life of the Ghost Rider. Now he’s back, and roaring off on his most insane adventure yet! But this is a wilder, more uncontrollable Spirit of Vengeance than he’s ever experienced! So if Johnny wants to live life in the fast lane, he might also end up splattered all over it as roadkill! Presenting the talented team of writer Devin Grayson (BLACK WIDOW), penciler Trent Kaniuga (Creed) and Danny Miki (Spawn)!

Vol 5: November 2005 – April 2006
He’s paying the price for his deal with the Devil– is the Ghost Rider condemned to ride the highways of Hell for all eternity? His saving grace could be in the form of an unlikely ally– an industrious angel with a deal that would free Ghost Rider once and for all!

Vol 6: September 2006 – July 2009
Once upon a time, Johnny Blaze made a deal with the Devil…and to no one’s surprise but his own, he got shafted. Now trapped in hell, with the Spirit of Vengeance bonded to his immortal soul and weighing him down, Johnny may have finally found a way out. But at what cost? From the depths of Hell to the glittering spires of Heaven, the Ghost Rider rides again in his first ongoing series in nearly a decade, blazing new trails and dispensing fiery vengeance in his wake. The demonic team of Daniel Way, Mark Texeira and Javier Saltares reunite to put ol’ Flamehead back in the saddle where he belongs. Ready or not, here he comes!

Vol 7: August 2011 – May 2012
There’s a new Ghost Rider in town, and it’s a lady! Can she stand up to Sin in this Fear Itself tie-in, or will she be “smote’d” by a hammer? Back-up story included that shows the origin of this new Rider.

Vol 8: November 30 2016
