Vol 2: April 1991 – September 1991
Hal Jordan is sent to prison for driving under the influence and injuring someone. En route to prison he sneaks away to stop a bank robbery and arrives back just in time to get strip searched (this time he was wise enough to conceal his power ring). While in prison Hal is framed for the murder of his cell mate. Hal’s caseworker Guy Gardner believes he is innocent and attempts to clear him of the crime. Meanwhile on Oa the Guardians of the Universe call upon Sinestro to train Hal.
