Grifter was an ongoing comic book series originally published by Image Comics. It featured the popular adventurer known as Grifter – a member of the super-hero team, the WildC.A.T.s, as well as the 70’s black ops outfit, Team-7. Grifter is the first member of the WildC.A.T.s to receive his own series. Oddly, the series began as part of a ten-chapter story-arc called “WildStorm Rising”, which swept through all of the published WildStorm titles of 1995 and was book-ended by the two-issue WildStorm Rising limited series. The series ended with the four-part “City of Angels” storyline. The cover to the first issue was illustrated by Barry Windsor-Smith.

Vol 2: July 1996 – August 1997
Grifter (Volume 2) was the second ongoing comic book series to feature the WildC.A.T.s member Grifter. Originally published by Image Comics, the series ran from July of 1996 to August of 1997 spanning a total of fourteen issues.

Vol 3: November, 2011 – March, 2013
Grifter (Volume 3) was one of The New 52 ongoing series published after Flashpoint. It was canceled after 17 issues.
