Lady Death has reigned in Hell for 400 years when an unseen attacker torments her dreams and twists her realm while she is awake. He foe is the demonic Purgatori and she has a thrist for the blood of gods and immortals. She is a master deceiver and it take all lady Death’s cunning to bring out her foe so that they might battle face to face. But things are not as they seem and the pair are in fact puppets of a greater deceiver. Old friends and and enemies clash in this new epic tale.
This series runs directly into Chaos Quarterly 1 story arc and is preceded by the original series The Reckoning.

Series 3: April 1996 – August 1996
Following the events of Between Heaven and Hell Lady Death is lost, trapped between worlds, tricked by Pagan. When a voice comes she is in despair and refuses to act. She finds herself transported through a series of tests with little power but an obvious foe to defeat. As she takes these trails she grows and learns until she is made ready once more to take her place as the herald of the Judgement War.
This series runs directly into The Crucible story arc and is preceded by Between Heaven and Hell.

Series 4: November 1996 – May 1997
Lady Death has faced her challenges in The Odyssey and still has little desire for war and yet she follows her former tormentor Valdana to Asgard where she will meet old and new foes as well as friends and allies, but more surprisingly more family than she ever knew she had.
This time the very universe is at stake and if she will not rise to the challenge it could mean the end of all things.
This series runs directly into the monthly series of Lady Death comics starting with Death Becomes Her and is preceded by The Odyssey.
