Vol 1: January 1986 – May 1986
Frank Castle aka the Punisher is back in prison, a place were he is the number one wanted man. A place where everyone seems to want him dead, but not as much as one man. Jigsaw makes his second appearance with Punisher, and he wants Frank Castle DEAD.

Vol 2: July 1987 – July 1995
Frank Castle’s reign to stop crime in his city is never done, and when he busts a Rockhouse it starts something even bigger. When names from his past begin to turn up, friends are killed, and people he hoped he left in Vietnam return what will the Punisher do?
Vol 3: November 1995 – April 1997
The Punisher is sentenced to death for killing Nick Fury. Frank Castle is electrocuted and believed dead once and for all. However, the Punisher survived since his death was staged by the mob. The boss of the mob family doesn’t want the Punisher dead…he wants him to take over his crime family!
Vol 4: November 1998 – February 1999
Frank Castle is back. The Punisher shot himself in the head and has now been brought back to life in this issue. Frank confronts his past and deals with the ramifications of his life’s actions. He is trying to find his way barely remembering his past and confronting angels and demons some literally and some figuratively around what feels like every corner.
Vol 5: April 2000 – March 2001
Frank Castle has gone back to basics. Back in New York, back from the dead and back doing what he does best: exterminating bad guys and waging his personal war on crime. The Punisher is here to clean up the mean streets of New York City, and the gutters are overflowing with drug dealers, mob scum and law-breaking skels. And just wait until you check out Frank’s new bachelor pad – with his roommate Death! It’s a gritty tale of bullet-ridden, gut-wrenching action as you like it!

Hot off of last year’s smash-hit series, the one and only Frank Castle returns to bring punishment to the mean streets of New York City! Look for old friends, strangely changed enemies and lots of trademark humor and ultraviolence! But with Castle’s war reinvigorated, the hapless Detective Soap finds his loyalties torn – and his manhood tested!
