Vol 1: September 1968 – September 1970
The Silver Surfer is now trapped on Earth after rebelling against Galactus. He tries to help the human race, but they all fear him and attack him. He recalls his former life as Norrin Radd. It seems no matter what he will be discontent with his surroundings.

Vol 2: June 1982
The galactic herald returns in this jam-packed one-shot! Silver Surfer recalls happier times with the Fantastic Four. With Norrin Radd becoming a distant memory with each passing day, will Surfer ever recover the man he once was? Surfer returns to his homeland Zenn-La to find absolute devastation. A new quest begins for Silver Surfer- one that involves finding his soulmate, Shalla Bal!

Vol 3: July 1987 – November 1998
The story begins with Stan Lee telling the story of an alien abduction. A nurse named Henrietta Rose was on her way home from work when she was abducted by some grey skinned aliens.

Meanwhile, Galactus speaks to his herald, the Silver Surfer. Galactus has become aware of an energy surge that is unknown to him but somehow familiar. He gives Surfer the coordinates and has him go to unravel the mystery.

Vol 4: December 1988 – January 1989
A space ship is huddling toward Earth. At first this causes wonder, followed by fear. Riots break out across the city.

Out of the ship comes Galactus. A televangelist named Colton Candell sees this as an opportunity to get more followers. He quickly pledges allegiance to Galactus claiming him to be God and that he is his prophet.

Galactus tells the people of Earth that there is no wrong and no sin and that pleasure is all. More riots break out and there is much lawlessness. The Silver Surfer tries to speak with Candell but is turned away, although he manages to reach his sister Elyna.

Vol 5: September 2003 – December 2004
Ellie Waters is a young autistic child from New Orleans that has a talent for art. But lately she only seems to draw the same silvery alien over and over. Her mother is Denise Waters, a street Voodoo practitioner that reads peoples fortunes to get money for the bills.

Vol 6: April 2011 – August 2011
A new beginning for the Silver Surfer! The sentinel of the spaceways walks the Earth once more, a stranger feared by many. Only the High Evolutionary understands his true potential, but the Evolutionary’s mysterious grand design may cost the Surfer everything and change the cosmic balance forever! He’s traded blows with Thor and matched wits with Mephisto, but can the herald of Galactus survive the judgment of Norrin Rand, the man within the Silver Surfer?
