In a flashback we see a younger Katchoo being schooled in the art of high-class escorting by someone called Emma in the back of a limo while sipping champaign.

The first issue of the third set of stories and the main body of the SIP story we are thrown into a fantasy tale of The Purple Phantasm and The Cat.Next we visit an older Francine than the last time we saw her married with a daughter called Ashley. She gets stood up at a dinner meal and bumps into a still spritely Casey.

Meet the lovable but naive Francine and her street-tough friend Katchoo; two women trying to make it in a male-dominated world. When Francine’s long-time boyfriend Freddie dumps her because Francine won’t go all the way with him, he must deal with Katchoo who’s determined to get revenge for Francine. This groundbreaking mini-series by Terry Moore was continued in an ongoing series a few years later in the pages in Strangers in Paradise Volume 2.
