Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes continues the numbering sequence from Superboy (Volume 1). Although the Legion of Super-Heroes were regular supporting cast members in the title since issue #197, it wasn’t until issue #222 that title officially changed to Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes. The series continued under the new title for a total of 36 issues.
