This is exactly what you get when creators don’t understand the characters capabilities. Throw on sophomoric writing, and copy cat artistry and you got one crappy read. Of course the fanboys that only care about action over substance will love it.

Plus when is Wolverine strong enough to catch Peter’s punch? And how is he strong enough to rip out of Peter’s webbing when Namor himself admits he can’t break the webbing. This writer knows absolutely nothing on either character

Yet his punch knocked his jaw loose in the very same issue. Have you never read secret wars? Spiderman knocked wolverine aside with a single slap. Or Spiderman vs Wolverine, where they had a knock down drag out fight? At the end of the day either could be the victor, but to claim Spiderman with his spider strength would do nothing is silly. Wolverine’s bones may be unbreakable, but he does feel pain and can be knocked out, it happens quite often.
Clearly you’re forgetting how strong Peter is. Peter throws and catches vehicles like catch a basketball. Logan is NOT strong enough of catch Peter’s punches. And the webbing?! Logan was PINNED to the wall… body, arms and legs…PINNED. In order for him to cut the webbing, he has to MOVE his arms. Less webbing has held Ironman, Namor, Rhino and Wolverine inchecked in the past. They couldn’t move. This time Logan was covered in a tremendous amount of webbing and he was able to muscle out of it when stronger people couldn’t?! Yeah, the writer know absolutely NOTHING of either character
You’re forgetting the fact that wolverine goes toe to toe with hulk INCESSANTLY. To say that he won’t be able to cut out of Spider-Mans webbing is just plain ignorant when he’s fought powerhouses from all across marvel consistently, whether he wins or not. Also, Wolverine definitely isn’t stronger than Spider-Man physically, but he is at least equal or just below him since he’s staggered stronger fighters with his punches.
Spider-man has gone toe to toe with Hulk, Juggernaut, Fantastic 4 etc… What’s your point? Again, Logan was pinned to the wall; body, arms and legs…all pinned. In order it to cut the webbing he would have to move his arms that are pinned. Namor, Ironman, and Rhino couldn’t move their limbs, what makes you think Wolverine is strong enough to do it?…he is not.
Let’s say you have adamantium claws and you were chained to the dungeon walls to the point you can’t move your limbs…how are you going to cut the chains when you can’t move? And that’s just metal chain…webbing is FAR stronger then metal chains

Jezzus, why do writers always forget about Spider-Man’s spider sense? It’s like they purposely forget about Peter’s pre cog abilities to make the story or they want their favorite character to look better. Wish writers would do basic research on a characters before writing a story

You don’t break bones for a jaw to be dislocated. Wolverines jaw was broken because the ligaments in them.
