I haven’t read superhero stuff in awhile, but this was fantastic. I’m very disappointed if they’re gonna legitimately call it a day after next issue. I do think stories having a beginning, middle and end really does help to make better stories…but this whole thing is ripe for more.
I also wanna say, it’s cool that this third volume of Ultimate Spider-Man is for readers that like the comics. It’s its own thing, but I like that it’s not a desperate ploy to supposedly convince movie watchers to read. It’ll never happen! Just continue to make books for the fans.

idk how to feel about this, i really like this series and this was a good issue but it just doesnt feel like an ending at all and just leaves things unfinished

This really only bums me out: knowing that we’re only one step to the end. There’s so much potential for more story and world-building in the Ultimate-verse, especially with Spider-Man and all the villains and characters in his life.
And the worst part is how much I’m going to miss all these characters. I love how all of them have been written and portrayed, especially Peter & MJ’s relationship. This has been the best thing to happen to these two in years, and I hate the thought of going back to reading the Earth-616 comics just to be disappointed again.
After two years of this, what I’m hoping for the most in the last issue is an epic almost anime-like conclusion. A badass fight scene followed by a wholesome ending with Peter and his family. If they’re going to end Ultimate Spider-Man, at least give him that. This was so much fun to read, I’d hate for it to end on a sour note.

I think over the last two years, this has been my favorite comic. I.wish it would go on for many years. Alas, Hickman has the story he wants to tell, and its Amazing, Spectacular, and Friendly!
