No, the world won’t come around to this, no you can’t fill the boots of the characters you aim to replace. I know this is some elseworld story, I know none of this is cannon, it’s just yet another timeline to prevent. But it’s just really bad, here’s heroes you knew, just slightly altered and mashed together and here’s heroes pretending to be heroes you knew against yet another bad guy who is trying to rule the world and doesn’t care how many eggs he has to break. Just like the previous big event. Just more chimeras of characters.

This is all the more reason Revelation deserves to die. Not only did he murder millions of people by releasing this virus, by mutating people against their will, he raped their very existence, and after committing such heinous atrocities, he’s established himself as some kind of beloved god-king among his brainwashed followers.
It’s good to see how Dani has taken up Steve Rogers mantle, and how some of the remaining Avengers have learned to adapt to this nightmare that was forced on them. However, I was actually hoping the Avengers were fighting against the Seraphim instead of helping them. Maybe in the upcoming issues, they’ll learn the truth and see that Revelation needs to be killed.
