Was the cigarette Gordon smoked laced with fear toxin? If not, how does the fear toxin Absolute Scarecrow utilizes work? All I know is that Scarecrow is responsibe for Gordon’s paranoia and suicide.

I really thought Absolute’s version of Alfred was going to kick the bucket before Gordon.
Also, speaking of, I will be shocked if every one of those Robins make it out alive.
Also, also, instead of Batman unintentionally creating the Joker, we have Joker/Grimm intentionally creating Batman? Or was he an creation of the Court of Owls? Guess we’ll see.

Wow, they just grow them bigger and meaner in the Absolute Universe, don’t they? I didn’t think it was possible to make Deathstroke the Terminator look more badass and edgy, but here we are. Would love to see a fight between Slade and Wayne using their sword and axe. That would be a helluva duel.
Oh, man. Bringing in all the Robins as Deathstroke’s personally trained wards? And their target is Batman. I was wondering how they when or how they were going to bring in any of the Robins, but this was something I did not see coming. I think that’s what I really enjoy the Absolute Comics so much; it’s that it’s so original in its way that you can’t really predict what or how something is going to happen.
Case in point, I can’t believe they killed off Gordon now, and that it was the damned Scarecrow of all villains that did it. I hope Batman crucifies him in a cornfield for this. I’d like for this Batman to maintain the traditional non-killing policy, not because he doesn’t believe he has the right to kill, but because he believes killing is too merciful.
