It seems like a common theme across all the Absolutes is how the natural state of things is this horrible universe and the end state of everything is always headed towards destruction. That the only way to disrupt this natural state is to become chaos, an aberration, or as said in Absolute Evil, an affront to God. It makes sense based on how this universe was created, but it makes it feel like the whole black star/how far out is the world thing is working towards unwinding the universe created. Which doesn’t really feel like a bad thing.

I love how he’s monologuing alone in his room. He must love the sound of his voice
Love the artist for this one so much! I haven’t been vibing with the art for this run much. Feels sort of webcomics-esque. This one gives a bit more classic comic style in some ways.
See I was saying this, I guess I get it if people like it. Obviously itโs not terrible but it is EXTREMELY webcomic esque and I didnโt think it fit. Honestly I think a stronger more realistic art style in general would make this darker tone and mystery of a story ,much more effective than it has been. But it is getting quite good now Iโd agree.
So far no one had crossed over with anyone, though Wonder Woman and Batman will be the first next year. I’m hoping Jo meets Wonder Woman and gets some relationship advice; she is NOT over her marriage!

I agree honestly. Either more realistic or stylistically grittier. But in general, I love this issues art, very striking.
