I figure this was going to happen ( carnage) , so predictable and there a was a glimmer of hope , when u saw MJ say I promise , the look on her eyes and face from peter lame joke lol , was like( why did I left this man ) I read the mail section for this issues that the editor put in as an attempt to say piss off us OG fan a letter where a so call fan say that rae the alien girl was better for peter and it was organic and they should stay together ( fuck nooo) ,nothing was organic about that, it was a hookup .

Oh, no! Carnage ruining things for our intrepid heroes, who could have predicted such a thing? I can’t believe that it took me reading this issue to realize that Shocker’s gauntlets are probably one of the best anti-symbiote weapons, so it makes sense that Spyral would take them after murdering Herman. Really makes me wonder why that was never featured earlier in the comics. Also makes me wonder what Spyral actually is, if he’s able to use those things, he’s clearly not using a symbiote of his own like I originally believed.
After reading this issue and seeing Eddie’s past with his dad, this is probably the most sympathetic I’ve ever felt for one of Spider-Man’s most iconic villains.
