Aw, Scurvy’s dead? Good riddance. I don’t give a damn that he was a mutant imprisoning and abusing other mutants, only that he was truly a vile, unethical POS. And if he could love someone as sociopathic, amoral and twisted as the good warden here, well, that shows further what his character was.
Granted, the fact that she had and grew up with a brother who reminds of that little freak from the Twilight Zone episode “It’s a Good Life”, would definitely explain why she is the b!tch that she is, but it doesn’t excuse it. If Corina were to be eviscerated and cannibalized by her own brother while she’s still breathing, I’d still think that was too good for her.
Can’t wait to see Rogue put the whoopin’ on these unruly students clearly from another universe.

Fun issue, more backstory for Scury and warden. Also, am I the only one that thinks Mutina is lowkey a fun character and should be made permanent member of Outliers?
Mutina!!!! I guess she could stay but I prefer her as the Outliers arch nemesis would suit her better. I just know I want that Warden dead or locked up in a federal prison for life.
No way, man. Locked up or dead is too good for her. There needs to be something extraordinarily terrible done to such an extraordinarily terrible woman. Let her right-hand mercenary captain be killed or imprisoned but have Corina regret that she’s still living and envy Scurvy’s fate. That’s what she deserves.
Give in to the dark side. There is power there you cannot imagine (LOL).
In all seriousness, though, my problem with the whole locked up or dead outcome is that it’s way too common with a lot of bad guy and villain types in comics and movies and it doesn’t seem that harsh. I enjoy it more when the villain of the story gets what’s coming to them.
Perhaps she needs the same treatment. Brainwashing. She has to listen to recordings and repeat them saying, ” Mutants are BEAUTIFUL. Mutants are the FUTURE. GLORY BE THY MUTANTS”๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
That, I’m not sure I could go with. For starters, I hate the idea of brainwashing more than anything, even onto villains. And I actually really dislike that “pro-mutant” propaganda that was espoused during the whole Krakoan Era.
And more importantly, concerning Corina, I don’t think that makes her suffer at all. You brainwash someone, all you do is put them ignorance of their own history, including their crimes. The better thing, I think, is to make her realize what a truly evil creature she is. Sadly, she seems too strong-willed and set in her own ways for something like that to happen.
So, in lieu of that, I say make her suffer a fate worse than death. Maybe make her mutate into some kind of horrific freakshow that gets imprisoned. After all, there’s greater punishment than an ironic punishment.
You are the one who told me to get into my dark side and I don’t feel it gets any darker than that. But I understand. I apologize of what I said makes you feel uncomfortable.
Don’t apologize, be proud! You reached a level of darkness I can’t reach. There are still secrets of the dark side I haven’t unlocked.
FYI, I was never you never made me uncomfortable. You said nothing insulting or offensive, you just gave an opinion. What I said was purely a preferential thing on how I feel about brainwashing. And you raised a good point; brainwashing like that is as dark as it gets.

I didn’t care about her at all when she was their villain but she’s grown on me since joining the team.
