They had to ruin this issue by having that dipshit Paul in it. I swear the Spider writers get a twist out of spiting the readers by forcing one of the most hated characters in comicdom down our throats at every turn. Part of me hopes that Hellgate, the Hobgoblin or even some other villain does in Paul but we couldn’t be that lucky.

What I want is for Peter to win this, I just hope he comes out on top in the end. Peter needs this win more than anyone else. MJ and Paul can go **** themselves and Dylan can keep insulting Paul like it’s his full time job
Does anyone hope that Paul becomes a casualty of the latest villain Peter is fighting? It likely won’t happen but that would make this story arc much better.
Please don’t rub salt in the wound by having MJ, or God forbid, Paul come to Spider-Man’s rescue. For once in the last five years, show Spider-Man being the ass-kicker is capable of being.

Could be better. The MJ part seemed unnecessary. But she’s in issue 9 just to reveal she’s now Venom. By the way what happened to Black Cat? Why did the character feature have her on it if she doesn’t make an appearance?
A storylineTHAT important would be built up to. And promoted wildly before it happened. Looking at the next few issues and concluding itโs not related is not smart.

Other than #9 in 2 weeks MJ doesn’t make anymore appearances in the next ASM #10,11,12,13. All New Venom has 2 issues left.
