Also another annoying thing is he is a very competent fighter, he was trained EXTENSIVELY by Shang-chi, of all the main universe spider heroes actually, he is one of best at hand-to-hand, if not the best.

Yes! Freaking finally! After years of Zeb Wells making Peter Parker seem like a weakling wuss, these writers are showing what a true badass he is. Not only by making him the Captain of the Spaceship of Misfit Toys, but also by showing how strong he stands in his own convictions.
No to mention proving point blank that Peter is capable of kicking some serious ass. I mean, that Gang War Arc was a joke, and not a funny one, either. Wells definitely went out of his way to make Spider-Man look like a bush league punk when everyone knows that if he really wanted to, Spider-Man could have broken Tombstone like a cheap toy.
After all the disrespect and BS Peter has had to put up with on Earth, especially in his native New York, I wouldn’t blame him if he never wanted to return.
