I think Bernard is an interesting character, the problem is they keep trying to force a relationship between him and Tim. I think the decision to portray Tim as LGBT, given that he spends so much time in a heterosexual relationship with Stephanie, was a big mistake. It’s like deciding if a dog can date a cat Or the people if staring say you can mix water and oil. I know those comments might seem homophobic, but to be honest, I’m not homophobic. I just think changing the sexuality of a character that’s been established for years as heterosexuality doesn’t make sense, it would have been easier to create a new LGBT character.
maybe im biased but if they want tim to be bi theres a clear choice for who he can date

This was good until they had to bring back Bernard, who is basically the Batbooks version of Paul Rabin from the Spiderbooks. The people at DC refuse to get that nobody likes Timnard no matter how much they try to force Fitzmartin’s idiotic fan-fic on the readers. I wish they would acknowledge that Tim and Stephanie had better chemistry rather than this forced Tumblr fan-fic nobody asked for.
hes a great character in his original appearance but they kind of stripped him of any personality in order to make him compatible romantically w tim.

I thought we got rid of Bernard. Ugh. Well, hopefully this is a lead up to their breaking up. A proper writer actually depicts a couple breaking up and makes it sensible to the story. Not just do it off panel to force their fanfic ship onto everyone else! Maybe we can get a realistic depiction of a male bisexual journey or self discovery this time instead of a no plot, no point, no meaning story.
Still, cool to see the beginning of the Beyond Batsuit!
he is straight but the editorial at DC-who were high on various drugs-allowed a hack like Megan Fitzmartin to retcon Tim’s history for her own stupid fan-fic that absolutely all the readers hate. The funny thing is that Bernard wasn’t gay when he was created either and had the hots for TIm’s step-mom until again Fitzmartin was allowed to put her garbage into print. Most fans go out of their to ignore TImnard no matter how badly they try to force it
Are you guys realy blaming Bernard for worrying about his boyfriend? Like he said, Tim always come back injured from his outs with Bruce. In his shoes, I would be mad ate Bruce too. Just because Stephanie has similar struggles to Tim, doesn’t mean they would make a better couple. And in the end it all depends on the writer. Glad to see Tim as Robin. Sorry for poor english, it isnt my language
Just no. Tim and Stephanie had years of established history and chemistry, whereas Bernard was retconned to fill some quota that nobody asked for. If they wanted more LGBT involvement in the Bat-Books just better utilize the actual gay characters they already have like Batwoman, Renee Montoya, Eiko, Ryan Wilder, Ghostmaker, etc. Then again that requires actually talented and competent writing
Bernard was over stepping by jumping to conclusions. Hopefully This leads to a break up. Let Tim be single, get a new partner or put him back with Stephanie. Either way just get rid of Bernard.
I just realized that stealth mode turned Batman invisible. Isn’t that something that Batman Beyond suit could do? I’m sure it can make Terry invisible in the Batman Beyond cartoon.

Agree , never was I a a Tim fan, but when he was with Stephanie, he was a better character !
Loving this so far
HELL YEAH
great story and love the new bat tools , but less Tim drama and more Damian, that my Robin !!!
Hopefully Tim has a different orgin story in this one
It’s the original. Did you read “The New History of the DC Universe”? It’s his original origin from 1993
I started to read it but I need to finish it forsure
Awesome
